End user terms: Questions as Pages by UmberSea
Short on purpose. These are the terms under which UmberSea licenses the app to you through the Atlassian Marketplace.
1. Parties
These terms are between you (the customer installing the app on your Atlassian site) and UmberSea, a business name registered in Ireland (CRO No. 786893), 77 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, D02 XE80, Ireland.
2. The app
Questions as Pages by UmberSea lets users of your Confluence site ask questions as Confluence pages, answer them as comments and mark an accepted answer, and shows those questions as a searchable list. It runs on Atlassian's Forge platform inside your Confluence site.
3. Licence
Subject to payment through the Atlassian Marketplace, UmberSea grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on the Atlassian site it is installed on, for the licensed number of users, for the subscription period. Pricing, billing, trials, renewals and refunds are handled by Atlassian under the Atlassian Marketplace Terms of Use.
4. Your data
Everything the app saves is ordinary Confluence content in your site (pages, comments, labels, page and user properties); it stores nothing elsewhere and sends nothing to UmberSea. That content remains yours and stays in Confluence if you stop using the app. See the privacy policy. You remain responsible for your Confluence content and for who you give access to it.
5. Acceptable use
You will not reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the app, or use it to breach Atlassian's terms.
6. Support
Support is by email at hello@umbersea.com, in English, with replies normally within two business days. There is no uptime commitment beyond Atlassian's own for the Forge platform.
7. Changes and discontinuation
UmberSea may update the app. If the app is discontinued, UmberSea will give at least the notice period Atlassian requires for Marketplace apps and keep it working for existing customers during that period. Your questions and answers remain in Confluence either way.
8. Warranty and liability
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, UmberSea's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, and UmberSea is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
