Steady Gantt for Jira

A Gantt chart for Jira Cloud that never touches your data unless you drag.

What it does

Draws the issues you can already see as a timeline: projects, boards, saved filters or JQL; epics, issues and sub-tasks nested; dependencies from your existing "blocks" links, with the late ones in red and a list that says which issue to move. Settings are remembered per user; timelines can be saved by name and shared by link; export as PNG or CSV.

What it never does

It never creates, deletes, moves, transitions or reassigns issues, and it never changes any field except an issue's start date and due date, and only when you switch on "Edit dates" and drag that bar (with a ten-second undo). Installing it changes nothing. Uninstalling it leaves your issues exactly as they were. Nothing is stored outside your own Jira site and nothing is sent to us.

What it will not do

Resource or capacity planning, baselines, critical path, hour-level scheduling, Confluence embedding. Those are what the larger suites sell; this app stays small on purpose.

Getting started

Install from the Atlassian Marketplace, open Jira → Apps → Steady Gantt, click Issues and pick projects. Issues appear on the timeline once they have a due date (and ideally a start date). The ⋯ menu has the key to every mark.

Pricing

Free for sites of up to 10 users. USD 1.25 per user per month above that, billed by Atlassian with your Jira subscription; annual is ten months' price. Atlassian handles invoices, trials and refunds.
